About Jay Martyr
Spirit led lyricist Jay Martyr (Jeremy Kroutz) hails from Durban, South Africa. Grew up in church but went his own way, searched through the darkness of the world and got adopted by the underground hip hop world under the name Krimzin and gained a lil buzz in the streets of Johannesburg. Made a prodigal return to the family of God in July 2012, never looked back since, Never WILL!
A servant in the congregation of Joy Chapel Ministries, where his father Pastor Dennis Kroutz serves as Assistant Pastor to Senior Pastor Wayne Thring. Joy Chapel was established by the Ministry of his grandfather, Apostle GP Van Wyk. Currently serves as Assistant Youth Leader, Bassist in the Church Band, as well as teacher of the Word of God.
