Minister eDDie Velez ‘Da Preachin Puerto Rican’ (host of the nationally-syndicated Holy Hip Hop Radio show), announced today that the 3-hourly weekly Holy Hip Hop Radio Show broadcast joins Reach FM on Friday, January 25, 2008. Reach FM (WREH), via its powerful and expansive radio network and programming, touches up to 9 million listeners (24/7) within and throughout the state of Florida. Holy Hip Hop Radio can now be heard from Coast-to-Coast on leading FM Radio Stations "On January 20, 2008, 8th Annual Holy Hip Hop Artist Showcase and Music Awards closed out on Sunday morning at 1:15 A.M. in 18 Degrees Temperatures with Atlanta blanketed in snow all day long, with 110 emcees ministering over 2-days (representing north, south, east and west), at Center Stage Arena (ATL), Kicked off by UGA (Urban Gospel Alliance Mixer and Fashion show, followed by Go Ye DJs keeping the Arena hyped all week-end along, capping a memorable week of Unity, Fellowship and Goodwill with everyone attendance (over 140 cities and 35 different states represented), plus a major accomplishment in live video streaming taking place of the entire Holy Hip Hop Awards event with thousands of viewers tuned in online to the live broadcast of the event. In keeping momentum following 2008 Holy Hip Hop Week, this week also marks a new milestone in the global mission to Take the Gospel to the Streets, with Holy Hip Hop Radio now being able to be heard on Reach FM, beginning January 25, 2008, from 9 P.M. to midnight (Fridays). Prior to eDDie’s pastoral role for New Birth Latino, he served as the Senior Director of Youth Development at New Birth.
