Atlanta/Durham. November 15, 2006. Christopher 'Play' Martin will debut Amen Music in 2007, as the Music division component of Amen Films. Amen Music will produce all soundtracks for Amen Films releases beginning in 2007 and beyond.

"Our first movie titled: "Holy Hip Hop" continues to gain applause and acclaim worldwide. We are positioning for multiple follow-up Christian movie releases in 2007, and each movie release will have a soundtrack produced by Amen Music. We are moving into some very exciting times in music and inspirational films, so stay tuned for more news to come.

Additionally, the Holy Hip Hop-House Party Contest was an enormous success, with Holy Hip Hop-House Parties held by volunteers in 320 U.S. Cities and Canada, with over 7,000 attendees viewing the 'Holy Hip Hop DVD'. NetFlix and Blockbuster Video both re-ordered DVD's within two (2) weeks of the 'Holy Hip Hop' DVD Release and DVD's were then picked up by Christian stores, such as Berean and a multitude of stores online. Platinum Souls (ATL) and XROSS (Minneapolis) each exceeded 1,000 guests and had a statistical tie. Special thanks to everyone who participated in the Holy Hip Hop-House Party Contest and in 2007, in addition to casting call opportunities, it is Amen Films intention to have more creative ways for the community to get involved in everything that we do,"said Christopher Martin, Executive Director of Amen Films.
